Product description

The Difrax anti-colic valve is the soft silicone valve in the base of the anti-colic S-bottle. The valve fits all S-bottles, both Natural and Wide, and helps the S-bottle reduce the risk of tummy cramps, spitting up and burping.

How does the anti-colic valve work?

During feeding, the valve continuously lets air into the bottle. This prevents a vacuum and keeps the milk flowing evenly. Together with the S-shape, the valve keeps air from mixing with the milk: 100% milk, 0% air.

In de winkel kan je ze niet los krijgen dus zou je elke keer een nieuwe fles moeten halen maar hier kan je ze dus ook gewoon los bestellen wat echt super fijn is en ook nog is heel erg betaalbaar en het wordt ook nog is super snel bezorgd ik ben er blij mee en kan het iedereen aan raden

  • Before each use, check if the air hole in the middle of the valve is open by squeezing it several times.
  • Replace the soft silicone valve regularly, just like the bottle teat. It is recommended to replace the valve and bottle teat every 6 weeks when using the bottle daily.

FAQ

From what age can my baby drink from the S-bottle?

From birth, including premature babies. If the size S teat still flows too fast, for example for a premature baby or a baby who chokes easily, try the XS Dosing Teat or the Dental teat.

Which teat size do I need?

Every S-bottle comes with a size S teat, suitable from birth. If it flows too slowly, choose size M from around 3 months and size L from around 6 months. A feed should take your baby around 15 to 20 minutes. Choose a teat that matches your bottle: Natural or Wide.

Can I combine the S-bottle with breastfeeding?

Yes. The S-bottle is ideal for combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding. The ergonomic S-shape ensures a relaxed feeding position and the teat has a soft coating for extra grip. With the S-bottle Natural, you can also express directly into the bottle using the Difrax breast pump.

How do I use the S-bottle?

Before each use, check that all parts are fitted correctly and undamaged. Squeeze the valve a few times to check that the air hole in the centre is open. Fit the teat properly into the ring for a good seal and comfortable drinking.

How do I clean the S-bottle?

Thanks to the screw-off base, the S-bottle comes apart completely and has no narrow or hard-to-clean parts. All parts are dishwasher safe: use the top rack and a 55 °C programme. The parts can also be sterilised. With daily use, replace the teat and the valve every 6 weeks.
