With the 1-2-3 Ring Wide, you position the 1-2-3 Teat on Difrax S-baby bottles. The 1-2-3 Teat is suitable for thin and thick feeds and can be used from 3 months onwards. Ideal for when your baby is having milk feeds but also a porridge bottle.

The special coating on the teat provides an extra soft grip. The teat has a soft round, nipple-shaped design that resembles the mother's breast.

To change position, loosen the dosing ring slightly from the S-bottle. Then rotate the teat so that the desired position on the teat (I, II, or III) is aligned with the baby's nose. Now you can tighten the ring again and continue feeding!

Tip! Before purchasing the ring, double-check which bottle you are using. The Wide bottle has a different ring than the Natural bottle.

There should be a slit in the 1-2-3 bottle teat. If you only see 2 holes, it may be that the silicone material is still stuck together from being new. Pinch the top of the teat with your thumb and index finger. This should separate the silicone material. Now the dosing teat will work correctly.

• Setting 1 for liquid/thin food
• Setting 2 for (slightly) thickened food
• Setting 3 for thickened and thick food

Tip! Check carefully which bottle you use before purchasing the ring. The Wide bottle has a different ring than the Natural bottle.

The best Difrax teat for you depends on your baby's preferences. Difrax offers three types of teats:

• NaturalSoft-coated teats for the Natural baby bottle. These narrow, nipple-shaped teats most closely resemble a mother's breast and are therefore the most widely accepted. The soft coating provides extra grip, helping your baby keep the teat in their mouth. The Natural teats fit the Natural S-bottles.
• DentalTeats for the Natural baby bottle. The Dental teat is suitable for babies with reflux, babies who are prone to choking, babies who drink too quickly, or premature babies. The Dental teat has a flat side, which allows the formula to spread more evenly in the mouth. This prevents choking and allows your baby to control their feeding. The Dental teats fit the Natural S-bottles.
• WideSoft-coated teats for the Wide baby bottle. These wide teats are best suited for babies who prefer to open their mouths wider. This is also known as a wide-latch preference. The soft coating provides extra grip, helping your baby keep the teat in their mouth more securely. The Wide teat fits the Difrax Anti-Colic Wide S bottles (200 ml and 310 ml).

If you don't yet know your baby's preference, it's best to start with the Natural bottle nipple. This is generally the most well-accepted.
