How does the Dynamic Pacifier work?

The nipple of the Dynamic pacifier is made up of multiple layers of silicone of varying thicknesses. Thanks to its unique, flexible design, the pacifier moves with your baby's natural sucking rhythm. This works step-by-step as follows:

  1. When your baby makes a sucking motion, the pacifier's nipple extends further. This provides extra support for your baby's mouth and jaw muscles as they contract.
  2. After the sucking motion, the direction of the mouth and jaw muscles changes, causing the nipple to retract back to its neutral base position.
  3. With each subsequent sucking motion, the pacifier offers optimal support and does not disrupt the natural sucking reflex.
What is the difference between the Difrax Dynamic and Natural pacifier?

The shield of the Dynamic and Natural soother is specially designed to keep the nose clear. The shape of the teat is oval (symmetrical) on both soothers, which ensures high acceptance. Both soothers are suitable for babies who like to turn the soother in their mouths. The soother is exactly the same when turned around.

The difference between these two soothers lies in the construction of the teat. The teat of the Dynamic soother consists of multiple silicone layers of different thicknesses. Thanks to these layers, the tip of the teat moves optimally with your baby's sucking motion. The soother stretches with a sucking motion and then shrinks back to its basic position. This protects the natural sucking reflex. This is an important advantage, especially for breastfed babies.

Compared to the Dynamic soother, the teat of the Natural soother is made of a single layer of durable silicone and is therefore less flexible when your baby sucks on the soother. The teat moves less with the sucking motion and ensures a stable tongue movement. The teat is completely smooth, while the Dynamic soother has several silicone bumps on the inside: this is to further mimic the mother's nipple.

Every child has their own soother preference and both types are equally responsible. Depending on your child's preference, you can choose either the Dynamic or Natural soother.
