The XS Dosing Teat is a 3-position teat specially developed for the very youngest. The nutritional needs of premature babies or babies with feeding problems can vary greatly. For children for whom an S-sized bottle teat is still too fast, and for premature babies, the XS Dosing Teat is a suitable bottle teat. This allows you to adjust the drinking speed to your child's needs. Position 1 = XXS Position 2 = XS Position 3 = S.
With the included 1-2-3 Ring Natural, you position the XS Dosing Teat on the S-bottles. The included green ring ensures that the bottle teat can rotate in the bottle teat ring. To change the position, slightly loosen the dosing ring from the S-bottle. Then turn the teat so that the desired position on the teat (I, II or III) is under the nose. Now you can tighten the ring again and continue with the feeding.
The XS teat is made of extra soft silicone. At the top of the teat there is an S-shaped slit through which thin food is dispensed. After purchase and before each feeding, check that the S-slit is open and not sticking together. By squeezing the top of the bottle teat with your thumb and forefinger, the silicone material will separate. The XS Dosing Teat is now ready for use.
