The Difrax Starter Set with bottle brush is a complete starter pack for bottle feeding. You get three anti-colic S-bottles Natural, extra Medium teats for when your baby gets bigger, and a bottle brush to keep everything properly clean. The S-bottle reduces the risk of tummy cramps, spitting up and burping and is ideal for combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

How does the anti-colic S-bottle work?

The anti-colic valve in the base continuously lets air into the bottle during feeding, so no vacuum forms and the milk keeps flowing evenly. Together with the S-shape, the valve keeps air from mixing with the milk: 100% milk, 0% air. Thanks to the S-shape, the teat always stays filled, even when the bottle is almost empty, so you don't have to keep tilting the bottle and you and your baby can feed in a relaxed position.

All bottles come with a size S Natural teat as standard, suitable from birth. Use the extra Medium teats from around 3 months, or earlier if size S is too slow. The bottle brush has an integrated teat brush, so you can also clean the teat and base thoroughly.

Snelle levering

Onlangs de starterset van Difrax besreld. Super snelle levering en netjes verpakt. De flessen zijn nog niet gebruikt, omdat is nog in verwachting ben van ons 1e kindje.

Fijne speentjes

Bij mijn eerste dochter ervaren dat zij alleen difrax pakte. Mijn kraamzorg raadde dit product ook aan omdat dit al bijna het oudste merk is en dus al het langste mee gaat met de baby’s! Nu bij mijn tweede dochter wat lastiger maar het speentje is toch favoriet! Kort om er is altijd wel een difrax product passend.

Available sizes

The Difrax S-bottle is available in various sizes. The Natural S-bottle is available in 170 ml and 250 ml. The Wide S-bottle is available in 200 ml and 310 ml, with the 310 ml also available as a porridge bottle. The smaller sizes are suitable for the first period after birth; as soon as your baby starts drinking more, you can easily switch to a larger bottle.

Advice
  • Before each use, check that all parts are correctly assembled and undamaged.
  • Place the teat correctly in the ring for a good seal and comfortable drinking.
  • Before each use, check that the air vent in the middle of the valve is open by squeezing it several times.
  • Replace the soft silicone valve regularly, just like the bottle teat. It is recommended to replace the valve and bottle teat every 6 weeks when using the bottle daily.

FAQ

From what age can my baby drink from the S-bottle?

From birth, including premature babies. If the size S teat still flows too fast, for example for a premature baby or a baby who chokes easily, try the XS Dosing Teat or the Dental teat.

Which teat size do I need?

Every S-bottle comes with a size S teat, suitable from birth. If it flows too slowly, choose size M from around 3 months and size L from around 6 months. A feed should take your baby around 15 to 20 minutes. Choose a teat that matches your bottle: Natural or Wide.

Can I combine the S-bottle with breastfeeding?

Yes. The S-bottle is ideal for combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding. The ergonomic S-shape ensures a relaxed feeding position and the teat has a soft coating for extra grip. With the S-bottle Natural, you can also express directly into the bottle using the Difrax breast pump.

How do I use the S-bottle?

Before each use, check that all parts are fitted correctly and undamaged. Squeeze the valve a few times to check that the air hole in the centre is open. Fit the teat properly into the ring for a good seal and comfortable drinking.

How do I clean the S-bottle?

Thanks to the screw-off base, the S-bottle comes apart completely and has no narrow or hard-to-clean parts. All parts are dishwasher safe: use the top rack and a 55 °C programme. The parts can also be sterilised. With daily use, replace the teat and the valve every 6 weeks.
