Can the parts that come into contact with milk be taken apart and cleaned in the sterilizer and dishwasher?

The diagram below clearly shows which parts of the breast pump can be taken apart.

To clean the breast pump, certain parts only need to be rinsed with warm water and dish soap. Other parts can be disinfected, for example, because they come into direct contact with milk. Cleaning and disinfecting are two different cleaning methods that should be performed separately for the well-being of both mother and baby. Proper cleaning is also important for keeping the breast pump in good condition.

Cleaning: Physically removing milk residue from the surface of the components. This can be done with warm water and a mild dishwashing liquid. Disinfection: Killing living organisms such as bacteria or viruses that may be present on the surface of the component. Sterilization can be done in two ways: Boil the components in a pan of water for 3 minutes. Or steam the components for 10 minutes in the Difrax microwave sterilizer.

Please note: The breast pump parts are not dishwasher safe.
