The research

The aim of the study was to compare the biomechanics of drinking in babies fed with the Mammafeel bottle versus breastfeeding and with other bottles parents used before. For the study conducted under clinical conditions, 102 families with newborns and infants up to 12 months old were invited.

The procedure included a feeding session either with breastfeeding or with the bottle previously used by the parents, followed by a session using Difrax LOVI Mammafeel bottle.

The observations and results summary were provided by neurologopedist Magdalena Mazur.

What do the results show?

"The baby creates almost the same sucking pattern both at the breast and with the Difrax LOVI Mammafeel bottle, which means it always feels familiar, easy, pleasant, and soothing,” says speech and language therapist Magdalena Mazur.

The study also compared how babies drank milk from the Difrax LOVI Mammafeel bottle versus their own bottles, which parents brought to the session, under the guidance of the specialist. In total, 31 bottles from 11 different brands were tested.
