The Difrax Hands-free Breast Pump has three modes.Stimulation mode:Stimulates the let-down reflex through rapid, shallow sucks to initiate milk flow.Pump mode:Once the milk starts to flow, you can manually switch to a slower pumping mode.Intensive mode:This is the most powerful setting with long, deep suction for expressing milk. Each mode has eight levels to adjust the suction to your preference and needs.

A well-fitting inner shell is essential for comfortable and efficient pumping. Choosing the right size ensures smooth pumping. It's important to know that the size of the inner shell depends on the nipple diameter, not the size of the breast.

Measuring your nipple is very simple. Using a tape measure or ruler, measure the diameter of your nipple at the base, excluding the areola. Read the measurement in millimeters (mm).

Select the appropriate breast shell based on the size:

Nipple diameter 13-15 mm insert shield 17 mm

Nipple diameter 15-17 mm insert shield 19 mm

Nipple diameter 17-19 mm insert shield 21 mm

Nipple diameter 20-22 mm inner shell 24 mm

The other breast may require a different size. Therefore, measure the nipples of both breasts.

Please read theinstructions for useBefore first use, disinfect the milk container, valve, and diaphragm chamber in boiling water for a maximum of 5 minutes. Ensure all parts are completely submerged. Let the parts cool on a clean cloth. Assemble the breast pump and place it in your nursing bra. Your upper body should remain upright while pumping. Do not lean more than 45° forward or backward.

Pumped enough? Then gently and carefully remove the pump from your bra. Don't turn the breast pump upside down during this process! Thanks to the opening in the milk container, you can easily pour the expressed milk into a bottle or breast milk storage bag.
