The Difrax Dental Pacifier 18+ months fulfils your baby's sucking need and stimulates jaw development. The pacifier has a large pacifier shield and the teat is fully filled with a sturdy silicone substance. This also stimulates your child to give up the pacifier in the next phase of its life. The ring of the Glow in the Dark pacifier absorbs light and glows in the dark.
This unique pacifier has a butterfly shaped shield ensuring a perfect fit to your baby's face. The recess for the nose enables your baby to breathe freely through the nose. Two air holes on each side provide additional airflow, preventing skin irritation. The Dental model was developed in collaboration with a medical team which included pediatricians. The flat part of the nozzle presses against the tongue and the round side rests against the palate. The sucking part of the 18+ M nozzle is filled and solid. This helps to naturally reduce your baby's sucking reflexes, which is the first step towards your child giving up its pacifier.
The pacifier comforts, consoles and relaxes your child. Difrax pacifiers are available in many fashionable prints and different sizes. Difrax advises you replace your baby's pacifier every six weeks. Check the pacifier daily before use for any damage by pulling firmly on the nozzle. As soon as your child starts biting on the pacifier we recommend you give your child a teether or teething ring instead.

The Difrax pacifier comes in five different sizes, ranging from newborn to 18+ months. The pacifier offers comfort and safety for any age. The size of the shield and the sucking part of the pacifier vary according to the age category. The sucking part becomes more solid as the ages increase, so it stays in proportion with the developing jaw strength of your child. The shield also becomes bigger, so it matches your child’s face.
As soon as your baby starts to bite on the pacifier, we recommend stopping the use of a pacifier and switching to a teething ring or teething toy.
Difrax has three sorts of pacifiers. The Natural, Dental and the Dynamic pacifier. The sucking section of the Natural pacifier and Dynamic pacifier has a flat base, while the end of the silicone sucking section is round and oval. We call this symmetrical. This means that the pacifier is readily accepted, especially by breast-feeding children. The pacifier is also suitable for children who like to rotate the pacifier in their mouth. This pacifier is exactly the same each way up.
Dental
The teat on the Difrax Dental pacifier also has a flat base and the end of the teat has one flat side that provides the tongue with a better grip when sucking. The Dental pacifier stimulates the development of the palate and the tongue and jaw muscles. The rounded part of the teat lies against the palate, and the flat part presses on the tongue. Good for children who need this, or for those who reject the Natural pacifier shape.
Dynamic and Natural
The Dynamic pacifier has an oval end, just like the Difrax Natural pacifier. What makes the Dynamic pacifier different is the material, which consists of different silicone layers with small silicone balls on top. The mobility of the silicone layers promotes your baby’s natural sucking rhythm. The silicone balls on the sucking part imitate the mother’s nipple, which is why the Dynamic pacifier is perfect for breast-fed children.
Every child has their own pacifier preference, and all three types are equally responsible. Depending on what your child prefers you can use either a Natural, Dental or the Dynamic pacifier.
