The empowerment of women and girls is an important and powerful theme at Difrax. For this reason, one of the organizations we warmly support is Free a Girl. Fier is committed to preventing and ending violence in relationships and offering help to deal with the consequences. Difrax supports Fier by providing physical and online parenting information to the young and expectant mothers Fier cares for. More information at fier.nl.
Women are well-represented in our factories. Almost two-thirds of the employees in our factories are women, and more than half of our management positions are held by women. The Difrax team in the Netherlands is also predominantly female: no less than 80% are women!
- In the offices of our factories, the ratio of men to women is evenly distributed. There are slightly more women working in production (60%).
- The age of the female employees in the factories varies. Half of the employees are between 30 and 40 years old. Other age groups over 40-55 are also well represented, with almost 30%.
