Choose the correct size of the Difrax LOVI Prime pacifier

Difrax LOVI proudly introduces the Prime pacifiers, which not only have a minimalist and fashionable design but also take into account the natural sucking reflex and the development of speech and teeth. The new Difrax LOVI Prime pacifiers have a dynamic teat that grows with your child's development.

Each size has been carefully selected in collaboration with experts such as neurological therapists.

The sizes of the Prime pacifier differ slightly from the standard Difrax LOVI collections, such as Baby Shower, Harmony, Botanic and Night & Day. Experts recommend that the smallest size (0-3M) is best suited for children up to 6 months. Your baby has more space in the mouth for the tongue to move, which supports the sucking reflex and contributes to healthy speech and dental development. These insights also affect the larger sizes for older children.

For now, the standard Difrax LOVI pacifiers are available in 5 different sizes, which are also safe for maintaining the sucking reflex and the development of teeth and speech. If your child is already used to the standard Difrax LOVI pacifiers and you want to switch to a Prime pacifier, here are some handy tips to help you switch:

  • If your baby is 0-3 months old and has been using a standard 0-3M pacifier, we recommend switching to the Difrax LOVI Prime 0-6M.
  • If your baby is 3-6 months old and has been using a standard 3-6M pacifier, we recommend switching to the Difrax LOVI Prime 6-18M (it is the same size).
  • If your baby is 6-18 months old and has been using a standard 6-18M pacifier, we recommend switching to the Difrax LOVI Prime 18M+. It is the same size but the teat has stronger silicone and is especially designed for older babies.

If your child is just starting to use pacifiers, it is wise to follow the Prime pacifier size scale: 0-6M, 6-12M and finally the 18M+ pacifier.

Do you use both a standard Difrax LOVI pacifier and a Prime pacifier? Then choose the size of each type of pacifier depending on your child's needs, using the table below.
