Your baby's immune system is not yet working at 100%, making your baby more vulnerable to infections than you are. Therefore, hygiene is very important for your baby. We'd like to explain the best ways to clean pacifiers, bottle nipples, and baby bottles.

Rinse immediately after use — with cold water

Clean baby bottles and teats immediately after each use. Always start with cold water — not hot, as proteins coagulate at just 40°C and stick to the plastic. This prevents stubborn milk residue.

Was each component separate

Fully disassemble the bottle before washing: bottle, ring, and teat separately. Use a mild washing-up liquid specifically for baby products. Use a bottle brush to thoroughly clean the inside and the bottle teat.

Dishwasher? Always in the top rack

Bottles and nipples can also be cleaned in the dishwasher — but always place them on the top rack. The intense heat at the bottom can deform plastic. Choose a program of at least 55°C.

Sterilize daily during the first few months

Washing alone is not enough for newborns. Babies have a delicate immune system — sterilize bottles and teats after each use in the first few months. From six months onwards, sterilizing once a day is sufficient.

Check and replace teats regularly

After each cleaning, pull firmly on the teat's sucking part. Do you see any cracks? Replace it immediately. With daily use, replace the teat every six weeks. Store bottles and teats dust-free in a closed cabinet.
