The Difrax Pacifier Dental 6+ months has been specially designed for babies aged 6 to 12 months. The soft silicone teat has a round and flat side for more grip, which makes it easier for babies to keep it in their mouth. The teat is slightly firmer than the teat of the newborn pacifiers and pacifiers for babies aged 0 to 6 months. It’s the perfect fit for the suckling needs of babies with increasingly stronger jaws.
Difrax pacifiers have a butterfly-shaped shield. This leaves enough room for the nose and makes sure that the teat fits the face perfectly. The holes in the shield guarantee optimal air supply, preventing skin irritation. The size of the pacifier shield has been specially designed for babies aged 6 to 12 months. The shield and teat of the Difrax pacifiers for babies aged 6+ months are bigger than those of newborn pacifiers and pacifiers for babies aged 0-6 months.
Difrax pacifiers have been developed in collaboration with speech therapists and dentists.
Please note: replace the pacifier every six weeks. Pull on the teat daily to make sure that the pacifier isn’t damaged. Is the pacifier damaged? Replace it immediately.

The Difrax pacifier comes in five different sizes, ranging from newborn to 18+ months. The pacifier offers comfort and safety for any age. The size of the shield and the sucking part of the pacifier vary according to the age category. The sucking part becomes more solid as the ages increase, so it stays in proportion with the developing jaw strength of your child. The shield also becomes bigger, so it matches your child’s face.
As soon as your baby starts to bite on the pacifier, we recommend stopping the use of a pacifier and switching to a teething ring or teething toy.
Difrax has three sorts of pacifiers. The Natural, Dental and the Dynamic pacifier. The sucking section of the Natural pacifier and Dynamic pacifier has a flat base, while the end of the silicone sucking section is round and oval. We call this symmetrical. This means that the pacifier is readily accepted, especially by breast-feeding children. The pacifier is also suitable for children who like to rotate the pacifier in their mouth. This pacifier is exactly the same each way up.
Dental
The teat on the Difrax Dental pacifier also has a flat base and the end of the teat has one flat side that provides the tongue with a better grip when sucking. The Dental pacifier stimulates the development of the palate and the tongue and jaw muscles. The rounded part of the teat lies against the palate, and the flat part presses on the tongue. Good for children who need this, or for those who reject the Natural pacifier shape.
Dynamic and Natural
The Dynamic pacifier has an oval end, just like the Difrax Natural pacifier. What makes the Dynamic pacifier different is the material, which consists of different silicone layers with small silicone balls on top. The mobility of the silicone layers promotes your baby’s natural sucking rhythm. The silicone balls on the sucking part imitate the mother’s nipple, which is why the Dynamic pacifier is perfect for breast-fed children.
Every child has their own pacifier preference, and all three types are equally responsible. Depending on what your child prefers you can use either a Natural, Dental or the Dynamic pacifier. De normale speentjes van Difrax zijn altijd een groot succes. Helaas dit keer per ongeluk de dental besteld. Op dit moment wilt ons meisje ze nog niet accepteren. Dus voor niets gekocht. Hopelijk wilt ze ze wel zodra haar tandjes door zijn.
